vampires vs werewolves

In my building we have a bulletin board with a new question every week. This week's question is, "Would you rather be a vampire or werewolf?" I am a huge fan of vampires, but everyone is voting for the vampires. That is because the girls read Twilight and the guys watch Underworld. My roommate is Romanian so she's an actual vamp. Anyway, they all think vampires are cooler and more sophisticated. I don't mind if people genuinely like vampires more than werewolves. The problem is that no one here appreciates werewolves for what they really are. They see werewolves as the savage beasts depicted by Hollywood. They need to read some Kelley Armstrong.

I spent an hour in front of the bulletin board debating with my friend and some strange guy. I accidentally referred to myself as a werewolf and referred to them as vampires: "We can transform and our males can enlarge their sexual organs. You fear holy water." I really feel like I can start a werewolf club. I can teach people to appreciate werewolves. I mean, I actually listed over ten reasons why werewolves are better. No one else writes real reasons/factual evidences on the board.

For example: Werewolves are not damned. They breathe, have warm and flowing blood, enjoy real food, have family, climbable social ladders, live and have purpose. I can go on and on but I will compile something solid soon.

Bill Clinton was here today. I missed him but my friend shook his hand twice. I shook her hand afterwards. Palin came yesterday and got booed.

I went to see the student presidential debate tonight. I left early because it was so disappointing. McCain's representative was much better than Obama's.

I watched the new episode of South Park, Pandemic. Basically, Homeland Security got rid of all the Peruvian bands in the world. With the Peruvians gone, GIANT GUINEA PIGS TAKE OVER.

In case you're wondering, this is a legit episode and not a figment of my imagination.

LIVERPOOL

Xabi Alonso made the only goal of today's Liverpool v. Chelsea match. I woke up a few hours late and missed the game, but still! I wrote an inspiring letter to him last week. He is probably doing so well because of my encouragement.

I hope to get some work done today. I can't wait for Thanksgiving break. I will be one happy turkey.

I've just realized that I can not speak English at all. I wonder if people have a difficult time understanding me.


I think I will try to write more in Italian. It is about time that I start taking the language seriously. I will try to incorporate the language into my life. It will be fun since I am surrounded by Spanish speaking amici.
