United States vs Brazil
http://www.ussoccer.com/Schedule-Tickets/2010/100810-US-Men-vs-Brazil.aspx
Deb, Please tell me you will be back by August 10th. This is our chance to meet Kaka. He speaks English. We can meet and talk and stalk. This international friendly will be held somewhere in Jersey. We can ask Lee to come along (and take us). I don't know, but I am excited. I have been frantically searching for international friendlies taking place in the States. I have not found one for Spain yet but I will buy tickets for sure if they ever come over.
.edit// It is actually two hours away from me. :( But maybe I can find out where Kaka will be staying and linger outside his room. The Spanish soccer team is coming to Mexico on August 11th. Maybe we could scoot over there to meet them? That would be ideal.
The problem here is that Brazil may not play Kaka. Spain may not play any of its main players at all. Oh sadness. Why can't we just go to Madrid?

United States 1 - 2 Ghana
I am so upset that we lost. ): Well, at least there is still one African team in the game. I would root for Ghana a little if they didn't just defeat us.
USA! (and England because Stevie is too cute)
The US is down one point against Ghana right now. ): I really hope we make a comeback. And even though I have not been rooting for England as of late, I have decided to for tomorrow's game. I have been going back to the heart & the brain to look at pictures of Stevie and Xabi. I miss them. I really want Steven Gerrard to move to Real Madrid now. If it goes through, Real Madrid would be the best (looking) team ever. That is if Zidane gets bored of retirement and comes back to Real Madrid too.
South Korea, I am sorry. I was rooting for you guys too. ): Good job though.
Stevie is such a wonderful father. How can Xabi ever break this up? *sadface*

USA!
It has been eighty years since we've won a group cup! I am so happy we advanced. (: I am also rooting for Spain this year.
Time for an inspirational picture from Real Madrid:
These men are together doing things like this on a daily basis. I would have posted the American team, but this is about as good as it gets.

Slovenia 2 : 2 United States
The US should have won, but the referee Koman Couilibaly fouled our last goal for no apparent reason. Cheat much? I am in no way expecting the US to make it to the end, but I'd like us to get our fair points. So far, we have two tied games. ): I would usually root for England over Algeria, but today I think I would like them to lose for the sake of our country.
I usually go for the foreign ones (Real Madrid), but America's Michael Bradley is not bad. Not bad at all. Neither is Francisco Torres and the other kids. I guess at young ages, most athletes would look good. Another motivation to root for my home country. I am also hoping Spain will make a comeback.
