Frowning burns more calories than smiling.
This is probably true since scientists confirm that frowning uses more muscles than smiling. In reality, I think it depends on what kind of frowner you are. I am sure exaggerated frowns require a lot of muscle strength, but I think I have this passive frown that comes naturally. I am so used to it that it is not much of a workout anymore. So to keep up a good workout routine, I recommend you alternate between smiling and frowning. There is also this in between kind of face where you stretch your lips horizontally.
Note: This is an officially retired Snapple Real Fact because "Real Facts need some time to just kick back, put on a pair of slippers and play some shuffleboard."
Yes, I've decided to address random Snapple facts throughout this month. A few years ago, I emailed a Snapple representative to ask whether Snapple real facts were true. He kindly confirmed that they were. Many of them have been disproved since. To this day I distrust Snapple -- though I must say that I did go through a Snapple Mango Green Tea phase in high school.
