I have watched a lot of TV this Summer. Even though all the good shows come out during the Fall, I managed to find some shows I have not seen for the Summer. Once fall comes, I go back to watching Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, Community, Modern Family, House, etc.
The Office. To start off, I spent my first two weeks of Summer watching all the seasons of The Office. I love it. Why have I not realized sooner that it is an amazing show? And I am usually not a huge fan of comedy. This is my kind of humor. Plus, Jim and Pam are so cute together. I never thought I would like Dwite, but I have grown to love him.
Lost. I expected too much and was disappointed. I thought everything was weaved together skillfully from the beginning. I thought that everything had a meaning and purpose. The truth is, they just try to impress and wow us. Some things are just there for the sake of being there. People interpret what needs not be interpreted. It is a good show, but I expected too much from it. I don't like the characters very much.
Pretty Little Liars. Yes, I watch this. And I like it a lot. I have never read the books, but I spoiled myself a little by skimming Wikipedia. I know I am a bad person but it just feels so right. And I feel so knowledgeable now. The girls are so cute and its fun to watch. Waiting for one episode a week is awful though.
Greek. I didn't finish this one. I just couldn't deal with all the drama. It made me nervous and unhappy. Will they ever be happy? I did enjoy this show though. It's a lot of sorority, fraternity drama exaggeration etc. I feel like I am living in Greek life.
Castle. I didn't like it that much at first because it is kind of ordinary. A writer following a cop around? It was just murder mystery after mystery without any real moving plot. The characters grew on me though. I just finished the second season yesterday.
I thought that
The Colony was a real show. I got really excited when I saw the ads. I thought it was a show based on people rebuilding a post-apocalyptic world and creating their own society. I found a link for the pilot and realized it was a reality show. I don't need fake drama with poorly written scripts and lots of whining! Any work of fiction is truer than a reality TV show.
