I have less than three weeks of hell left. One evening exam, one in-lab exam, one take home exam, four final exams and two lab reports to go. Excuse my lifelessness until then.
MotD: Diethyl Malonate
It smells like apples and is used in the malonic ester synthesis. :( I didn't get to make this one but I did synthesize isoamyl acetate, which smells like bananas! I will bring some home and let my mom sniff them. She likes the smell of bananas.
