I wore this dress the day I brought Guinnie home. It is the same red dress. I must have worn the red plumps, the only pair that matches the outfit. The weather must have been really nice that day, or so I would like to imagine. The weather is also beautiful today. I'd like to think that.
They are downstairs, probably unaware of what I am about to do to them. I am giving them away, like tossing them to someone else. They will become someone else's responsibility. I do not want them to disappear so quickly, yet I am anxious. I just want them gone, away like magic.
I think I cried a little while ago. I am not crying now. My eyes are dry. I can't imagine that I am feeling anything at all. Everything is very nondescript. Very isn't even the right term to use. Nothing should modify nondescript. Let's leave it at that. Today is nondescript.
I want to know about them when they are gone. I asked to hear about them, to see pictures of them growing. I don't know if I really want to see them though. There is something very cruel about me. Once they are gone, I would like to keep them in my mind. In my mind they are very happy and beautiful. They become a lovely dream, never faltering and always pleasant. I would like to imagine that they are always happy and that I've always loved them the way they loved me.
We are in each other's hearts.
That is what I would like to believe.

i love you too, sabrina
Sabrina probably thinks I'm insane. I'm really not.
Since I won't be able to bring my guinea pigs to college with me, I've decided to give them up. I'm currently in contact with this girl who seems like a good person. She reads books and own pets. Sounds qualified... in a way. I googled her. I found pictures and blogs and I am currently on a search for more concrete information.
Once I've learned enough about her, I'll decide whether she is a good owner or not. I don't want to give my piggies up, but I'll have to leave them. I hope she is a great, great person.
